hi friends!

im having such a wonderful night, even though im super tired. i was up until 2 last night, but for a completely good cause.. friends. dang it, i love my life here. i honestly love where i am right now, im enjoying being single, im enjoying my friends, having freedom from a car and paying for gas… and i love the band mae… listening to them right now : ) so many possibilities on the horizon its ridiculous. whatever God brings will be a blessing. oh, and im turning TWENTY soon. oh my gosh, the big two-oh.

i talked to my uncle today via webcam. wow, i miss him so much. i miss my argentinean famly  who tell me to never stop smiling and that God has everything in control. what an amazing support system. theyre so far away but i love them so much and they love me, i love family. i wish i remembered the exact words that my uncle wrote… what a blessing they are. *sigh* . i need to do something about this.

saw the dalai lama yesterday as well. we talked about the dalai lama at the dinner table today, hehe. what a doozie… honestly. the dalai lama had some interesting things to say, but he really didnt say anything i haven’t heard before. and talk is cheap. i’d like to see what he says be put to use in the us because i think that a lot of his points about family being important, and dialogue being a tool to solve problems would make life a lot better. however, i can’t say that i agree in his method of “divine counsel”. i cherish his intelligence, but i cannot trust a man who goes to anyone other than the God of the universe for his religious fix.  dont hate me.

this year has been quite the year for politics and world issues… serious. with the dalai lama, and the olympics, and the crazy elections… what a great year to be 19/20 yrs old. im registered to vote, are you? im proud to say i will be voting for obama. however, sometimes i wonder about clinton. i actually feel bad for the woman. everyone wonders why on earth she is being so hostile and aggressive, but all in all, i dont blame her.  think about it, heres this woman, the first woman to run for president… shes in a mans world. i personally believe she needs to put up a front. i know i sometimes put up a “mean” front at times so i dont get push around. heck, i read this article on msn about how women should limit their use of “please” and “thank you” in the workplace so that they dont come off as being passive… but im still not voting for her.

welp, i must go, friends. hope everyone is ridiculously happy.
