hi friends.
wow, what a MAY. a couple new things in my life, new ideas, possibilities, encounters, i was the victim of religious piety ( i could write PAGES…)…
im registering tomorrow. hopefully ill be taking Italian 101. hee he hee… how awesome would THAT be. dang, i want to take it. Then i can have 3.5 languages. holla.
so, new possibility on the horizon. i might be going to argentina for 3 weeks in july. until i purchase the tickets i wont say that i AM going, because a bunch of things need to work out for me to go. well, not a BUNCH… but there are some things i need to take care of. what a blessing it will be. i wanted to get out of the country, and i am going to : ) YES. then im going to the Dominican Republic in November. AH! i love it. What i will be doing in argentina is taking spanish courses, and just living there with my family and loving life. itll be the winter, so that should be interesting. ill be cold, but thats life. i dont care, ill be in BUENOS AIRES! freaking Paris of South America : DD
i went salsa dancing recently : ) wow, so much fun!!! i hope i did well… i think i did. its probably the latin blood that automatically makes me natural… now i need to do tango. however, all the mexicans i danced with were super short… which was awkward at sometimes, just thinking about the placement of their FACE. but it was still fun. this one dude tried to coax me into going to tango on wednesday nights and he goes… “beautiful woman like you? you should go..” with his super heavy accent. thats the closest i got to getting macked on… which was decent because i didnt want anyone to. but, i did do a dip ONCE! it was great. there was this great Indian dude from Stanford. he has this geeky laugh and it was GREAT.
anyway, life is great. the day was beautiful. i took a lovely little walk through campus tonight, it was gorgeous out!! i love warm nights. i think one of the best things is warm summer nights in the city. there something about city lights that are just ridiculously nostalgic for me…. i think its because i’ve been going down town since i was a child and i remember sitting in the car with my family, driving to the city and just looking outside at the city. im probably born for the city. yep, i think so.
hope you are ridiculously happy. and if you are not, you should probably take a nap. that what ive always done and it works pretty darn well : )
